The Astrals Edge series begins with 19-year-old Optimus Sumitpo and his desires to flee his home planet of Elyssia to seek a greater life in the infinite expanse of the universe around him. A member of the human race, which has become a galactically-recognized group, he hopes to find more success than he could in his old life. He begins his journey by leaving Elyssia and exploring the opportunities he can find elsewhere, which leads him on a path he could have never anticipated.
